Engine accessory overhaul, repair, 500-hour inspections, and bench testing — performed under our FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate, with full documentation for your records.
Every category includes overhaul, repair, and bench testing. Specific brands listed under each category reflect what we work on day-to-day — if you don't see your unit's manufacturer, call us.
Well-maintained magnetos are crucial for proper operation of an aircraft engine — they're the ignition source for most piston aircraft. We perform overhauls, repairs, and 500-hour inspections to specifications, with calibrated test equipment and full FAA-compliant documentation. And we are one of the few shops that service dual magnetos.
The most extensive part of our capability. Fuel system components — servos, control valves, flow dividers, and regulators. We overhaul and repair these components to specifications, with bench testing to verify performance before return-to-service. We also clean, inspect, and flow-test nozzles and fuel lines.
Fuel pump overhaul and repair. Replacement of seals, diaphragms, and worn internals, with pressure and flow testing to specifications.
Constant-speed propeller governor overhaul and repair, tested to OEM tolerance on calibrated test stands. Critical to smooth prop operation and engine performance.
Bench testing, AOG Priority Service, and warranty priority routing aren't three separate features. They're three expressions of the same idea: we've been part of this community long enough to know what real schedules look like — and we treat every job that way.
When the symptom is intermittent or the failure mode isn't clear, bench testing is the fastest way to confirm whether the accessory is actually the problem. Most testing is one labor hour and the fee credits to your repair invoice.
With AOG Priority Service, your unit moves to the front of the line and gets worked the moment it arrives at our shop — typically faster than standard turnaround. Ask us how your part can skip the line.
We can't promise miracles — parts availability, scope of work, and what's already on the bench all factor in. But the earlier you call, the more we can do.
AOG Priority Service is available across all four service categories: magnetos, fuel systems, fuel pumps, and propeller governors. If you have a grounded aircraft, the first call should be to us before you even ship the unit, so we can plan around it.
Aviation runs on schedule. We strive for zero warranty returns — and the bench testing we do before every unit ships is the reason. In the rare case a unit needs to come back, the shop that fixed the plane shouldn't be left holding the bag. Warranty returns are tested within 1 day of arrival, and repaired with a 1–2 day turnaround in most cases.
Limited Warranty Terms. PAA Ohio warrants each overhauled unit to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 6 months or 300 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of sale.
